Indications:

As an aid in the treatment of oedema in dogs and cats.

Contraindications:

Impaired renal or hepatic function. Concomitant neomycin medication.

Precautions:

Monitor electrolyte balance with prolonged use. Frusemide has no adverse effects on pregnant animals.

Dosage:

Given orally in divided doses.

Cats: 0.1 to 0.2ml/kg bodyweight daily.

Dogs: 0.2 to 0.4ml/kg bodyweight daily.
